One of the hardest things about buying dog food is how heavy the bag is. I looked silly trying to carry this 55 pound bag of PEDIGREE® out of Sam's Club. I usually like buying my dog food there because I can get this specific brand that I can count on. When you have a performing dog like Cadence, she needs to have good quality food that she can depend on. Her healthy diet is what keeps her coat looking shiny and her teeth strong. It took us a while to find the right kind of food for her.  PEDIGREE® has become a part of our daily routine and our daughter Carlie is the dog trainer for little Miss Cadence. She is a German Shepherd who has very high standards in her Shutzhund Dog Training. Her meal regimen requires special needs and we found that with PEDIGREE®:
By the way I don't know how my metal mixing bowls became the dogs food and water bowls. But I guess that'll be fine. Carlie treats her dog like royalty.
Once Carlie has finished her homework and chores. We feed Cadence her dinner and after we all have dinner we usually go on a family walk around the neighborhood. There is a dog park near our house, although Cadence isn't allowed to enter while she is learning obedience. Her training is under a very strict schedule and I never want to interfere.
If you want to join in on all the fun you can share a photo of your dog on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #LaterShelter for a chance to be featured on! The PEDIGREE® brand will donate a bowl of food for every upload.
Cadence is the very first dog to join our family. It seems like raising a German Shepherd is almost like raising some teenagers I know. They are wild and destructive sometimes, but when you give them a goal in mind they will work to get what they want. Within the next month, both Carlie and Cadence will be on their way to Nationals to share what they have both learned throughout the past years.
