I spent my last night in Alajuela near the San Jose airport. I was extremely home sick. To the point of tears. I was craving pizza so my husband found a Pizza Hut and bought me the biggest pizza pie I could get!
(Goodbye Costa Rica you were good to me)
(My handsome husband and our pizza pie)
(The airplane was very welcoming... only because I know I was going home to sleep in my own bead and they also gave me some yummy fresh fruit)
(I had a horrible 13 hour lay over in Mexico City. We thought it would be a good idea to rent a room at the airport hotel. So I slept for over six hours...HEY, pregnant ladies need their sleep!)
The only sad part is my husband decided to stay a little bit longer in Costa Rica with his brother. I am going home to enjoy the comforts of my bed and a few doctor appointments. I have my family and friends at home to take care of me. I am confident that I am not gonna go into labor. Well my fingers are crossed :)
Off to Costa Rica. And yes I am terrified. Here I am 29 weeks pregnant and needing a signed release from my doctor to get on the plane. Hopefully I don't need to get up too many times during the flight.
So here I am 7 months prego and we are going to Costa Rica NEXT week. Whoo hoo I found something to blog about! Life has been crazy focusing on baby in utero and my husband retiring; so I've had a lot on my mind. And I get even more excited when I can blog about something. More prego belly photos will be up soon enough I promise. Im still a little cautious, but I'm in love with this baby bump! And I have been keeping the baby all to myself... selfish I know! So the hubby and I have planned a wonderful trip before the baby is born. Some may call it a BabyMoon... which it is! The best part about going on vacation is packing and planning. I definitely want to be prepared since we found out the weather is going to be in the 90's.
Here are some of my favorites that I will be packing for myself. ASOS Maternity is my all time favorite. Nine months of amazing clothes and awesome prices. Every week I have a new package from them. More details will be posted... Im also going to try posting internationally... lets see how that turns out.
The holidays are over and my husband and I have a lot in store for us over the next couple of months. We have a Baby moon scheduled in Costa Rica and our little munchkin is due in March. But before any of that happens my 33 year old husband has decided to retire.
Yesterday we celebrated with the managers at Wente Vineyards and we had an amazing dinner full of delicious vegetarian options. I have mixed feelings about my husbands retirement. We met over seven years ago at our office and that was truly kismet. So I am disappointed that I will not see him around the office anymore. Now we are ready for the future and he is financially able to stay at home with our new bundle of joy... coming March of 2014.
