Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays from the baby bump and I.
I wanted to take pictures with Santa today but the line was ridiculous. I settled for photos in front of the christmas tree instead. Here is to all of you who read my silly little posts. Becasue most of you are my close family and friends that I love so much.

Happy Birthday Carlie Rae

Yesterday you turned 12 years old. And I could be more proud of my little lady. Everything about you is astonishing. You are an over achiever and never disappoint. You are very musically inclined, although I am not a big fan of the Trombone. And your love for horses grows and grows and grows.
(This photo was difficult to coordinate)
(Hello my name is Cinnamon)

Ikea Pregnant Marathon

I feel like a walked a marathon today. I had a shopping list of everything I wanted to buy at Ikea but once I found the bed frames and rocking chairs I just wanted to stay there. I even started to get a little light headed and dizzy... I don't know if it because of the winding path throughout the store. But I was done. Baby Bump and I had to stop and get some Chipotle and relax a little bit longer before any other errands.

Pregnancy Must Haves

Pregnancy Must Haves

  1. This brush may look rough. But I am telling you when your hair is falling out and your scalp is sensitive you are going to want a high quality hair brush!
  2. Shea Butter Shea Butter Shea Butter… 3X a day if you must.
  3. Bubble bath why not? Just be careful about the temperature of the bath.
  4. Socks, oh how wonderful comfortable socks can be. When your feet are swollen and its cold outside. Cuddle up on the couch in your pajamas and some darn good socks.
  5. This cotton T-shirt I practically lived in. My pajama shirt. My Weekend shirt. My go to comfy shirt that I never wanted to take off… because you need a stretchy shirt that can be worn the entire pregnancy.
  6. I like to exfoliate. I am afraid of getting stretch marks and varicose veins and I will scrub scrub scrub!
  7. I would recommend a sports bra that you can also wear while breast feeding. My regular bras had that nasty mean wire!
  8. "My lips hurt really bad…" Chapped lips are not fun. I would pick one of these up each chance I could.
  9. Beside living in my T-shirt. My robe was there for me. When I was my biggest at 39 weeks pregnant my robe comforted me and was required in my hospital bag!

Muir Woods

Our family day trip was a bay area tourist event. We had lovely weather and everyone was in good spirits.

(Oh the redwoods how I love thee)
(That is a crazy hike for a pregnant woman)
(Sometimes I wish I could keep the trees just like they are)

(I'm going to enjoy these moments just a little bit longer. It's hard to believe that we will be a family of five soon)

(We tried. We really really did.)
(When pregnant you always need to be cautious)

I'm going to Remember Today

Because I had Boo Berry Cereal. Which is half off at Target right now.
And we had our ultrasound today. I think I am going to frame this little side profile.
Just wait until I get my hands on those little toes
 Oh and it's November 5th...
Hopefully this doesn't scare you, but I'm a hard core fan of the Guy Fawkes

Static Cling and Decaf

Monday mornings hit me the hardest. Because I just want to sleep, I just want to rest my feet, and sometimes I wish this coffee was caffeinated. The baby bump is prominent and the static cling needs to be controlled. I decided to stroll into Target this morning and find me some
Static Guard Spray... and Decaf Coffee.

Brunch Date

While Carlie & Dean at visiting their Grandma for the morning. Husband and I decided to enjoy a lovely brunch. I wanted Noah's Bagel more than anything... so naturally that's where we went.
(Blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and hot cocoa... this makes my heart melt)
(and that's his face saying "why are you taking a photo of me")
(Trader Joe's necessities: Baguette, everything bagels, spicy hummus, Japanese fried rice, and husband's whole grain bread ;)
(Taking our car through the car wash is always entertaining)

Chico, CA

I put my so called hiking boots on and joined my husband and sister in law at Bidwell Park. I needed the prego exercise and he needed to find the creek for nostalgic reasons. The fall leaves were surrounding us and the crisp air had a beautiful aroma. In the sun it was hot, but the shade was chilly. The creek water was freezing and the rocks were flat as paper (perfect for skipping rocks)
 (Big Chico Creek)

(I was secretly hoping he would fall in :)
(Chico is such a beautiful campus)
(With my sweet tooth I had to stop here and buy some old fashioned candy)
 (He's my Big Hunk)
(Pistachio ice cream is my pregnancy craving all day every day)

Keeping up with the baby bump

16 week baby bump going on right here! These photos were taken at our local pumpkin maze called Dell' Osso Farms. This is another family tradition that we try and follow. They have other attractions such as the pumpkin blasters, haunted castle, and ziplines. I'm not a fan of haunted houses but the pumpkin blaster are a little too much fun. I am just so happy to share my little baby bump; whom is the size of an avocado in there.

(PS these baby bump photos are awkward to take. My husband is standing behind the camera and so is everyone else. About 30 people were getting out of their cars in the parking lot and wondering what we were taking a photo of... obviously there is a bun in the oven :)
